My Impressions:

Pros:

Very lightweight & comfortable to wear at 30 ounces empty.

Optional no freeze hydration system sold separately.

Rugged chest & belly strap is a key feature for our type of riding.

Weather resistant zipper system keeps your contents dry.

Straps are bullet proof and should last the lifetime of the pack.

Cons:

Zippered hydration pocket in back side of knapsack allows some moisture in. I am told this zippered flap is to allow use of a Hydration pack, but I would prefer to have this removed entirely.

Personally I would purchase the BCA Stash Back Pack if I were looking for an excellent back pack with the best Hydration System available on the market today.

Bottom Line:

This is the second BCA knapsack that we have reviewed, and I have to tell you that they are indestructible. I have worn them sledding, atving, utving, and on the motorcycle and have yet to wreck one in any way. That in itself is a testemony to how well these bags are build.

This bag in effect has 3 useable pockets to store items in. The top pocket is part of the en-closer lid, and is great for small items. The inner pocket is good for bulkier items, and the outer pocket good to stoor itemms that you want to get at in a hurry.

There is an abundance of straps to attach things to the exterior of the bag and we have used to outside straps to attach lighter jackets to while riding, allowing us to layer our riding apparel.

Barring the rear panel that is an annoyance, this is one of the b est knapsacks that i have worn riding or for every day use.

Bottom line is BCA have quality built products that will do the job, and last for ever. You will not be sorry that you have invested in a product that is not only stylish but very effective to boot.
