Rider's Prayer, written by Pastor Merlin Pratt

Rider's Prayer

Dear Lord, as we head out today for work or play, we thank you for

your Divine Presence in our lives.

We praise you for our place in your world and as we ride about, help

us to be mindful of your glory shown in nature around us.

Help us to always respect this precious gift by keeping the environment

May we leave our world a better place for those who would come after

Lord God, we confess that we are no’t always as careful as we should be

when we ride so we seek your protection today.

Send your guardian angels to surround us and keep us from all harm.

As we motor about help us to be kind to others, respectful of their needs

and property.

In our fellowship, may we always reflect your goodness and may we in

all things seek to honor you, drawing others towards a relationship with you.

We thank you for the privilege to call upon you today.

In the name of Jesus Christ, the Risen One, Amen

Our Place of Worship.
