My Impressions:

Pros:

Full synthetic lubricant that does not break down in extreme heat.

Has reduced friction which translates into increased horsepower.

Reduced friction provides less gear wear and provides extended life to your gears.

Cons:

None.

Bottom Line:

I am using the Spectro Platinum Differential Gear Lubricant in our 2009 Can-Am Renegade 800R rear differential, and also the transmission as well.

The first thing I noticed when I started my Renegade up was the lack of gear noise that was present before. If only one benefit, this is one that I really appreciate.

Noticeably I have picked up a few miles per hour by switching over to the Synthetic Gear lube & by using Spectro Synthetic Lubricant in the engine.

The Service Manager from my dealership (U.P. Cycle & Sport in Iron Mountain, Michigan) drove my Renegade the other day, and he asked me what I did to the machine this time to get the extra mid range grunt out of my machine. I told him, air box mod, and Spectro Synthetic Lubricants gave me the extra horse power that set my atv apart from a stock machine.

I figure when someone else tells me my atv is more powerful then stock, when all I have done was change lubricants, then that means something to me.

You have to change your transmission fluid aft your first service on a new machine, so why not change to Spectro? I usually change my differential & transmission fluids on a yearly basis, so you know what is going into my machines now!
